Company History
TapMap was was founded in 2009 by Philip McNamara.
The team was routinely frustrated with being unable to find the products they wanted to buy, at the stores they wanted, and thought "There must be a better way". By partnering with mobile application platforms, retailers and retail system integrators, TapMap makes it simple and cost effective to publish retail inventory on the web.
An entrepreneur and athlete, Philip McNamara has led two businesses to growth and profitability. He has worked in Silicon Valley, the UK, France and Ireland, has represented Ireland in three world mountain-bike championships, and is the president of the Irish Kitesurfing Association.
TapMap was founded to make mobile shopping incredibly easy for any company that has a presence online or a physical location.
